Metallica comes with a special edition of the hit album black album, featuring covers of 53 artists. Elton John and Miley Cyrus, among others, offered their version of Metallica classics, but also bands like Weezer and Volbeat.

new painting Metallica Black List Comes with a modified version of the original black album On September 10. “With contributions from countries around the world, from the United States to Nigeria, we have recorded songs with singers, songwriters, country artists, electronics and hip-hop as well as punk, rock and rock fans, and the music we shared on stage. Some of them weren’t even born when The original album was released.

All proceeds will go to charity and will be divided between Metallica’s All In My Hands Foundation and charities selected by 53 artists. “In addition to raising money for charity, we want to show that Metallica’s music transcends genres, distances, and cultures. We like to believe that – with everyone else’s help – we did just that,” Metallica writes. “It was important to us that artists choose the song that they feel most connected to; it doesn’t matter if we already have multiple versions of a song. If an artist wants to cover that song, we’ll do it.”
black album It was released in 1991 by the American heavy metal band and is one of the most successful records of all time on the US charts.
