In the twenty years he has lived in America, American reporter Michael Voss has transformed from a naïve immigrant with romantic ideas about his new country to a bespectacled citizen of his adopted homeland. On Monday, June 17, he will discuss his book ‘Fox in the US’ with Ward de Moore.
Michiel Vos is an American journalist and reporter. He lives in the middle of bustling New York and is the bridge between the Netherlands and America. Vos is married to the daughter of Nancy Pelosi, the first female Speaker of the House of Representatives. He is a popular commentator on radio and television and appears regularly on talk shows and current affairs programs. In an attempt to unravel the mythology of his ‘New World’, Vos takes us to the American way of life in his book ‘Vos in de VS’. He meets presidents, pop idols, Hollywood stars and ordinary, often angry Americans. He describes 21st century America using witty and humorous anecdotes.
