American equestrian Laura Grod and national equestrian Hunt Tosh have been announced for 2021. Grod and Tosh received the most votes from American equestrian members in last month’s best equestrian poll, and were recognized along with other award winners at the 2022 Pegasus Awards Dinner Celebration. Grott’s name will be engraved This year’s equestrian permanent trophy.
That’s Laura Grott 2021 The team won the silver medal for the season with Plutinu at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Grodt took over from Baloutinue in early 2021, and they won their first $ 137,000 Grand Prix CSI3 * at the Bainbridge Company. The two then helped the NetJets® US jumping team finish fifth in the Rome CSIO5 * Nations Cup, followed by Rome CSIO5 * finishing second in the Rolex Grand Prix.
Grod was selected to the American jumping team for the Tokyo Olympics – his third Olympic team – becoming the first senior American female athlete to reach the finals on stage with a silver medal since 1904. Kraut and Baloutinue then helped the U.S. team win the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup CSIO5 *, the first U.S. victory since 2005, and the fifth at Assange’s Rolex Grand Prix.
