‘Usually only known in South America’

A walk on Gementwake For many on Monday evening, the Boschian went different. A crimson ibis walked across the vast fields of Woodse Gemat.

The scarlet ibis is commonly found in coastal areas of South America. This bird can be found especially in Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil. It is not known exactly where this ibis comes from.

Exotic color and crane

The bird stands out in its color. In addition, the bird has a remarkable, large crane. It is difficult to see in the photo above, but the average animal size is 56 to 86 centimeters.

Zoos

Most of the time they were found in the Netherlands and they flew from zoos. They often fly back by themselves.
