KNVB responds to Gomers’ comments: “Please, throw the outdoor sports”
KNVB offers an additional appeal to the Treasury to fully resume outdoor sports as soon as possible. Jan Dirk van der Zee, director of amateur football at KNVB, responds to statements by IC Diederik Gommers. This encourages people to go out more.
The focus was mainly on staying indoors, but according to Gommers, people should get out more. Gummers said in BNR.
Van der Zee responds with passion to this and calls for a restart of amateur football. He begins in a message on his Twitter page that “It’s fair that Gommers admit wrong.” “Please … open the outdoor sports. Everyone longs for it, young people can play competitions on bike, adults can train well again and then we hope they play more competitions in May and June.”
