The 2021 Formula 1 calendar has not yet been fixed. The canceled race in Singapore will definitely not be the last, so other options are also being looked into. Indianapolis has been named as a candidate, but that will not happen.
Many more races may be canceled in the current F1 calendar. For example, a Grand Prix in Brazil is unimaginable at this time, and a GP in Japan. There are also question marks about. The alternative to Brazil seems to be easier to solve in the United States. Second race in Austin, or back to Indianapolis.
F1 does not have Indianapolis
All of this has been suggested before, but Roger Benske, the boss of the Indianapolis circuit, told Jenna Fryer of the Associated Press Sports that there was no talk of it. “We’m not in a position to do that now. We’m always talking, but the financial side needs to work on both sides, so we’re not in a debate right now.”
Stefano Dominic, CEO of the circuit, suggests another opportunity. “They want to finish that Miami thing. We’re interested, but have no plans now.” Basti Epstein initially responded to a possible second race in Austin. This seems like a very logical candidate, F1 is already there.
Roger Benske tells me @IMS In the current negotiations to host the 2nd U.S. F1 race in 2021 * no * “We are not in any position now … we are always talking, but the economy needs to work on both sides. It will happen, we are not in any discussion.” https://t.co/lA4yVzBEZN

Benskey noted that he often talked to Stefano Dominicali, but “they had to do the Miami thing. We’re interested, but have no plans now.”
