Rockstar Games is working on a VR version of GTA: San Andreas, which will be released exclusively for Facebook’s Oculus Quest 2 headset. It is not yet known when the VR version will be released.
Oculus is naming the VR version of GTA: San Andreas In a blog post, but no pictures appear yet. Facebook says the project has been in the works for years in collaboration with Rockstar Games. So says Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in Connect Keynote. In it, Facebook is also hinting at the upcoming Oculus Gaming Showcase 2022, with more details about the new games, but it’s not yet clear when that event will take place.
Rockstar announced itself this year Simulation of the original GTA trilogyIncluding GTA: San Andreas. These adapters will be released on November 11 for PC and consoles and will also be available for smartphones at a later time. The VR version may also be based on this editor, but details about that have not been revealed. The original version of GTA: San Andreas was first released on October 26, 2004.
Five new games from Vertigo Games
Oculus also says it will collaborate more with Rotterdam VR studio and publisher Vertigo Games. He is known for titles such as The Arizona Sunshine, A Fisherman’s Tale, and Unplugged Air Guitar. Oculus is working with Vertigo on five new VR games, but the type of these is not known. Oculus offers a hint: It includes a game from the “fan-favorite” game worlds of Deep Silver. It might be Saints Row.
