Where and when to watch

By tradition, the Golden Globe Awards take place in the second week of the new year: on Tuesday, January 11th. The event will be celebrated as usual in California, United States and will start in the evening US time. If you want to catch the awards show in the Netherlands, you will have to spend a night for it. In the Netherlands, the show takes place from Tuesday to Wednesday at 02:00. Is a good night’s sleep extremely important to you? Then Bazaar will be ready the next morning to show you all the winners and looks.

From announcing the winners to telling funny or sentimental anecdotes: of course everything should be talked about with each other. In previous editions, this was done by Tina Fey & Amy Poehler and Ricky Gervais, for example. It is not yet known who will present the Golden Globes in 2023. We also don’t know yet who will be providing the entertainment between the awards.

Return after criticism

The fact that the Globes will not be held in 2022 has much to do with criticism. There is a jury behind each award. Behind the Golden Globes is a select group of journalists called the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Certainly not a variety of journalists, as research by Los Angeles Times.
