Clarissa Shields won last night by unanimous decision from Canadian Marie Yves Decayer, in her junior super-heavyweight fight in Michigan. With this victory, American Shields became the first boxer to win four world titles.

With wins over Dicaire, the Shields became unified WBC, WBO, IBF and WBA Super Welterweight Champion. The American had previously united all WBA, WBC and IBF members in middleweight by beating Christina Hammer in April 2019.

Shields, who has switched to mixed martial arts (MMA) as well as her boxing career, signed a contract with the PFL. It is not known when the boxing champion will debut in the MMA cage. Most likely, the Shields will participate in a million dollar tournament.
