Alisha and Nod from Buy Without Looking are forced to leave Eindhoven for a new home: “It shocks me deeply” | RTL Street
Alisha and Nod search for their dream home in “Buying Without Looking.” They want to trade their rented apartment for a single-family home, where they can hopefully one day raise a family. But when real estate agent Alex van Keulen (55) manages to secure a house outside Eindhoven, it seems that Alisha is secretly having a hard time leaving her beloved city.
“Alisha really wants to live in Eindhoven and I want to live in Tilburg.”
Alisha was born and raised in Eindhoven and has lived in the city all her life. Her boyfriend Nod is originally from Tilburg and moved to Eindhoven for love. Now that they are looking for a new home together, Alisha prefers to stay in Eindhoven, but Tilburg could also be an option for the couple. “Alisha really wants to live in Eindhoven and I want to live in Tilburg,” Naude explains in front of the cameras Buy without looking.
The couple had a budget of €425,000 and wanted a living space of at least 120 square meters and three bedrooms. Alex initially looks for a house in Eindhoven, but soon discovers that they won't find Alisha and Nod's dream home here. “Unexpectedly, Alisha and Nod’s research turned out to be very difficult.”
Until Alex comes across a beautiful place in Tilburg. He managed to buy the house for four thousand euros. Then it was time for Alisha and Nod to see the house for the first time. “It's Tilburg, my dear,” calls Nod excitedly. But for Alisha, it is a crazy idea to have to leave Eindhoven. “The ore falls on your roof.”
Fortunately, Alisha has a few months to get used to the idea, as it will take some time before they actually move to Tilburg. Alisha still has mixed feelings about having to leave her beloved city, but when they officially leave Eindhoven, she feels positive about it. “It's nice to have your own place now. (…) Let it happen.”
As soon as they entered their new home, Alisha and Nod were speechless. “We are very happy,” Alisha says. We would also like more than satisfied. “This is really all we wanted. (…) We can feel at home here.” Alisha totally agrees. “Sure. Sure.” The couple is very happy with their new home. “We have a beautiful house and we will explore the center.”
