Akihisa Ogawa appointed Managing Director of Mutoh Europe – Graphic News
Mutoh Europe nv, the EMEA business unit of Mutoh Industries in Ostend, has appointed Akihisa Ogawa as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
Akihisa Ogawa, 64, will combine this new position with his current position as General Manager in charge of International Sales at Mutoh Industries.
Accelerate growth
While Mitsuo Takatsu, as Managing Director of Mutoh Europe, will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of Mutoh Europe and implement the company’s strategy, Ogawa will set long-term goals in direct collaboration with the parent company’s board of directors. Its main mission will be to accelerate growth in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Akihisa Ogawa earned a master’s degree in economics from Sophia University in Tokyo in 1982. He has been assigned to Mutoh Industries since 2019. Prior to that, he was active in international sales at Panasonic with assignments in the US and China.

He has been employed by Mutoh Industries since 2019. Prior to that, he was active in international sales at Panasonic with assignments in the United States and China.
