A simple victory over the host country
The Dutch volleyball players finished the group stage in the European Championship, on Tuesday evening, with a simple victory over the host country, North Macedonia. National coach Roberto Piazza’s team won 3-0 in Skopje. The group results were 25-19, 25-19 and 25-16.
The Orange team was already certain of qualifying for the eighth finals after Monday’s victory over Denmark. The “tall men” also beat Montenegro and the Czech Republic in the group and lost only to world number one Poland.
