A number of tennis’ best players have rallied behind Novak Djokovic and his new ATP organization, the PTPA.
Anas Jabeur, Tunisia’s second seed in women’s tennis, is part of the executive committee of the Federation of Women’s Players. The board of directors of the new federation also consists of the Polish No. 11 in the world Hubert Hurkacz, American tennis players John Isner and Bethany Mattek-Sands, Spain’s Paula Badosa and China’s Zeng Saisai.
The board will be formally presented ahead of the Australian Open, which starts next Monday.

Djokovic, along with Vasek Pospisil, left the ATP Players’ Council more than two years ago due to dissatisfaction with the performance of the body responsible for professional tennis among men. The two then announced that they would establish a new organization to represent the interests of tennis players. That became the Professional Tennis Players Association, PTPA.
“Everything now indicates that this is a big moment for our sport,” Pospisil told Reuters news agency. They are all respected players.” The PTPA wants to become a serious partner in the discussion of tennis together with the ITF and the professional federations ATP and WTA.
