Argentine star Gonzalo Higuain announces a tearful farewell | sports

The day has come to say goodbye to football, a profession that has given me so much. “I feel proud to have had both good and bad moments,” he said with emotion at a press conference attended by family members and the entire Inter Miami team.

Higuain played 75 matches for the Argentine national team and was good at scoring 31 international goals. In his best years, he was a prominent player in Real Madrid, Napoli and Juventus. With Real he won three national championships. He scored 107 goals for the Spanish club in 190 matches. He scored 71 goals in 104 matches with Napoli.

I take beautiful moments with me in my head and my heart. I’ve had an amazing career and accomplished more than I could ever have imagined. “It would be a dream to end my career as an NBA champion,” said Higuain, who has been in good shape recently. He scored 12 goals with Inter Miami in the last 14 games.
