“So we can’t let Jadon and Judd go to England for Christmas,” said manager Michael Zorc. Dortmund will wrap up the year on Tuesday with a cup match against Eintracht Braunschweig. On January 3, Dortmund will resume the German Bundesliga with a home match. against Wolfsburg.

Coach Eden Terzic, the successor to recently dismissed Lucien Favre, is hoping to make Erling-Braut Haaland available early next month. The Norwegian Dortmund striker is recovering from a muscle injury. “I saw Erling for the first time on Sunday,” Terzic said of the striker, who was being rehabilitated in Qatar. “He’s exactly on time.
