In Andorra, an 82-year-old owner of a rare Ferrari 512 TR becomes trapped in a shopping mall shop window. The man, his 59-year-old passenger and a shopping mall employee were slightly injured.

According to local media, the man’s car inexplicably veered off the road, skidded through a parking lot and smashed into a shop window. The car, which today is worth at least 160 thousand euros, got stuck in the shop window with the front and rear wheels rising into the street.

For elderly motorists, these types of accidents are often caused by accidentally pressing the accelerator pedal instead of the brakes, writes the German Autobuild. However, in this case, it seems most likely that the owner was trying to impress his fellow passenger, after which the car skidded at high speed.

The Ferrari appears to be fairly undamaged, but because the front of the car is bent upwards, there is a good chance the chassis will crash. The Ferrari 512 TR is the successor to the Testarossa made famous through the TV series Miami Vice. Between 1991 and 1994 about 2,280 pieces were made. The 422-horsepower sports car with a 12-cylinder boxer engine has a speed of 315 kilometers per hour.
