Volleyball players will meet Germany in the finals of the 8th European Championship | Other sports

National coach Roberto Piazza’s team ranked second in the group stage in North Macedonia, and the third-placed team in Group A will meet in the eighth final with the German national team, and the match will be held on September 9 or 10 in the Italian city of Bari.

Germany narrowly lost 3-2 in two sets on Wednesday evening in Ancona to world champion Italy, who became the group leaders.

A simple win over the host country

Dutch volleyball players finished the group stage of the European Championship on Tuesday evening with a simple victory over host country North Macedonia. National coach Roberto Piazza’s team won 3-0 in Skopje. The group scores were 25-19, 25-19 and 25-16.

The Dutch team had already secured its place in the eighth final after its victory over Denmark on Monday. The “Tall Men” also beat Montenegro and the Czech Republic in the group and lost only to Poland, the world leader.
