FC Utrecht goalkeeper Morton Pius travels to FC Dallas with immediate effect. American MLS’s club has been hiring Pius throughout the season and is in talks to buy the 23-year-old goalkeeper.

In the summer of 2018, Morton Pius arrived on a free transfer from NEC, where he played for six seasons. In the home game against PEC Zwolle in the 2018/2019 season, the keeper made his debut for Tom Stelingen. At FC Utrecht, Pius grew up to be a young international under 19, with Orange and Zhang Orange under 20. Pius played for FC Utrecht in 44 Eredivisie tournaments.

“Morton wants to play as a goalkeeper every week at this stage of his career. He told us he would like to take advantage of this opportunity as the competition for a place under the bar this month has not been decided in his favor,” he says. Director Jordi Soodom FC Utrecht’s Official Website.
