The Dutch family film Knor sold to 28 countries | Movies and TV shows

Dutch animated film grunt It was sold to 28 countries last year. This says the distributor Gusto Entertainment, which released the cartoon in Dutch cinemas.

The film will be shown in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, China, Spain, Germany, France, Japan and more.

The animated film was a success in Dutch cinemas. grunt It won three golden calves at the Netherlands Film Festival, including Best Picture, and was submitted for the Academy Awards.

The animated film is about Babs, who receives Knor the pig from her grandfather from America on her ninth birthday. Her parents aren’t too happy about this, but Babs can keep the animal on the condition that Knor follows a puppy training course. Principal voices were provided by Jelka van Houten, Kees Prins, Henry van Loon and Hiba Ghafri.

grunt It is stop motion animation. This means that the director gets his shots by having the clay or plastic puppets shot, while the puppet has a slightly different pose on each shot. By playing these pictures one after the other, the puppets seem to move.

Almost a year later, the film is still showing in three cinemas: Under the Microscope in Arnhem, Eye in Amsterdam and Lantaren Finster in Rotterdam.
