Nine years ago, Universal released the supernatural action comedy RIPD: Department of Rest in Peace Out, which did not make much money at the box office despite starring Ryan Reynolds And the Jeff Bridges. This setback didn’t stop the studio from shooting a live sequel to the video. This has been completely under the radar so far, and now it’s clear that Reynolds and Bridge won’t be returning to their former glorious roles.

The original film, made with a budget of about $150 million, made just $78.3 million worldwide. The flip case was fixed, and the paper was meant to be a sequel. Until now…

According to IMDb, RIPD 2: Rise of the Damned Directed by Paul Leiden Based on a screenplay written by Andrew Klein. Since the movie was produced in secret, the synopsis of the movie has not appeared online yet.

What is certain is that Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges will never be seen again in the sequel. The cast included on IMDb includes Richard Fleischman, Jake Choi, Keri Knopp, and Stephanie Levi-John.

Unfortunately, the sequel has not yet received the release date.
