North Magnetic Acquisitions Company announced the joining of Shahid Qureshi to the Board of Directors. Shahid is a Chartered Board Member of ICD Canada with over 25 years of experience in finance, cybersecurity, governance and risk management.

Shahid is currently the CEO of Leverage Global Inc. He holds senior administrative positions in the federal government. Shahid was a risk consultant at KPMG Canada, where he helped Fortune 500 companies improve their strategic, technology, financial, operational and transformational goals. Shahid has over twenty years of international experience as a director and is a member of audit, risk, investment and governance committees around the world.

Shahid has extensive international experience as a business leader and has helped organizations succeed in Canada, Asia, the Middle East, the Far East, Europe, the US, the UK, the Caribbean and Africa. Shahid is a Certified Public Accountant, Fellow of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Cost and Management Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and holds a Master’s degree in Economics. Shahid’s recent leadership positions include President of ACCA of Canada, Chair of the Calgary Parking Authority, FFCA Board Member, CCIS Vice-Chair, IIA Calgary Board Member, City of Calgary Audit Committee Member, and EASC, and Chairman of the Calgary Board of Directors. Branch of the Chartered Certified Public Accountants, Chair of ISACA Calgary and Advisory Committee Member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
