In the latest Beautiful world Michael, who has been living in the Netherlands without his wife Alexandra for a year, says it is ‘very exciting’ not to see each other for a while.
They celebrated the holidays together, but they were more or less separated by eight months. “Alexandra fully understands that being in the Netherlands is very convenient in an election year so I can sit on the talk show table,” the journalist explains. “If it’s not right, it’s going to crack in a year. It’s not cracking us.
The American reporter advertised his own documentary about George W. Bush in 2002, and while in Amsterdam met the love of his life. Michael says: “I had one or two relationships before that, both of which were not very serious, but it immediately seemed to me with Alexandra. She is very independent, goes her own way and has something very attractive.”
When Alexandra returned to the United States, they began calling each other often and for a long time. Eighteen months later, Michael emigrated to the United States. “I’m 32, and I know exactly what I want: a life with Alexandra in the United States.”
New Beautiful world Michael’s story will be in stores starting Wednesday.
