‘Loki’ Season 2 quite unexpectedly features a new villain in the MCU!

He’s already been seen briefly in the trailer, but has a clear history in the MCU comic books.

It has now become clear that Kang (Jonathan Majors) will appear in the final season of the series LokiThe reveal of this villain is a surprise. Zaniak, also known as fictional actor Brad Wolf (Rafael Casal), bumps into Loki and Sylvie.

It was previously known that Casal would have a role in season two. The fact that this concerns Brad Wolfe/Zaniak’s role has sparked a great deal of speculation among fans.

Infection and nuclear accidents

In Marvel Comics, Brad Wolf is an actor who makes a movie titled Zaniak!. Wolf plays serial killer Zaniak, who targets female victims as a result of a traumatic childhood. There is a similarity to this with Wolfe’s backstory, which is also why he took on this role.

However, without realizing it, Wolf was infected by a parasite from the Dark Dimension. This parasite wanders through time and space, always bringing out the worst in the victim. In the comic, an injured Wolf eventually falls victim to a nuclear explosion. This combination literally turns his character into a brutal Zanjak.

Background from comics

In the trailer we see Casale as Wolfe getting out of the car at the premiere of his film Zaniak!. In other words, the series seems to be sticking to the background in the comics, giving Loki a formidable and dangerous opponent in addition to Kang.
