Kollumer cheese days bring a festive week full of entertainment

column – From April 19 to 27, the entire village of Coolum will be dedicated to the annual Coolum Cheese Days. A diverse festival program of no less than nine days, full of activities for children and adults at the center.

The Kollumer Party Committee has once again made sure that the week before King's Day becomes a real party in the village. Festivities begin on Friday with a round of puzzles and card and darts tournaments. The weekend will include a church mass, a matinee performance with a band and a “false party” with artists such as De Doelleazen.

Theater shows, bingo and play
In the following days, the program includes theatre, a bingo evening, a school play show and an 'all-in' competition. Thursday is the traditional day for cyclists, which also includes a pub test. The Friday before King's Day is dedicated to the 21st edition of the famous running competition “Kollumer Katloop”. With a “Dutch Evening” at King's Night with performances by Henk Dessel and others.

Oranjebraderie at Kingsdayfestival
As always, Kollum is the regional attraction on King's Day. After the fair of obads and oranges during the day, the festive week ends in the evening with the “Kingsday” festival in the Witwaterbos. With Moonlight Drive in Show and Gatze Bosma.

The party committee invited the residents of Kolom to decorate their streets this year under the slogan “Around the World”, for the atmosphere of typical Cheese Days in Kolom.
