According to Joseph Fares, Head of development studio Hazelight, explains that there are “competent players who only want to play cooperative games” and that he “hopes that there will be more games like this.” It Takes Two can be played locally and online. The second player does not have to pay for the game and can join online via the Internet Friend’s permitBut local cooperation is also an option.
Hazelight previously created A Way Out, which is a game that can only be played in co-op and has no matchmaking. At Starbreeze Studios, Faris also made Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons, but despite the cooperative elements, this game is for the player.
