Overeem echoed his statement earlier this week. He said of Harry, “If you’ve been unlucky for seven years, you’re an injured animal. He’s shown pretty things, but not in recent years.”
In recent years, Overeem has made a name for himself in the American UFC as an MMA fighter. He has previously made the switch from MMA to kickboxing and is not afraid to be behind Hari.
“I think I was able to translate my MMA experience into kickboxing,” he said. “I really took my mindset and work ethic from MMA to K-1 in 2010. I’ll do it again tomorrow.”

Harry and Overeem met at the kickboxing arena in 2008 and 2009. It’s twice become pretty amazing, but it’s a short fight. Both convincingly won once.
“Every fight is self-contained,” Harry said in response to a question about the two previous clashes. “I’m looking forward to it and I’ve been training hard. It’s been thirteen years now, but I can’t wait. Another day. I hope everyone enjoys it.”
“I’m not going to get into what it was. That would be bad. I look forward and focus on what’s going to happen. The most important thing is that you enjoy what you’re doing. We’ll make sure it’s a great fight for everyone who’s looking. Let’s pop.”
Overeem: “I’m not expecting. We’re both in top shape and this is the crucial fight between us, so it’s going to be beautiful. I’m happy to be back in Holland.”
The match between Hari and Overeem is the main battle of Collision 4. They are expected to face each other in the ring on Saturday around 10pm.
