HBO Max renewal starts in June in the Netherlands and these are the new subscriptions
Warner Bros Discovery will launch its new streaming service Max in the Netherlands in June, but in our country the service will still be called HBO Max. There will be new subscriptions, including a cheaper subscription with commercials.
In Europe, the service offers access to content from HBO Max, Discovery, and Eurosport. In the Netherlands, the new Max is still called HBO Max, because Omroep Max already owns the trademark rights to the Max name. The updated application for the streaming service will be released in our country in June.

In the Netherlands there will also be a cheaper basic subscription with ads, Reports Discover Warner Bros. US subscribers pay $10 per month for a basic subscription with ads. With this cheaper subscription, you can watch in Full HD and stream on two devices simultaneously.
With the standard ad-free subscription, it's also possible to download up to 30 series and movies for offline viewing. This number is 100 downloads for the premium subscription.
Only with a premium subscription can you watch in 4K with Dolby Atmos for some titles. If you really want to watch in the highest quality, you should subscribe to the most expensive subscription. With Premium, you can stream on up to four devices simultaneously.
The streaming service will also stream every match live from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. “Paris 2024 will be included in all subscriptions, ensuring all customers have full access to the world’s biggest sporting event.”
Subscribers can also watch other major sporting events, such as the Grand Slam tennis tournament, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, cycling tours, and the live channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2. For some sports broadcasts, you have to pay an additional fee. “Sports” on top of your subscription. -Add-on.

It is not yet known how much the new Max car will cost. Warner Bros. will announce Discovery will announce more details about subscription offers and pricing in each country “in the coming weeks” only.
When HBO Max launched in the Netherlands in March 2022, the streaming service offered a “lifetime discount” for the first few weeks. People who accepted this offer still pay only €3 per month. The question remains what will happen to this opponent for the Dutch people in the future.
