On Sunday, Haley from New Hampshire responded to news of DeSantis' withdrawal from the race. “There is now only one man and one woman left,” the former governor and former ambassador to the United Nations said. “I hope the best woman wins.”

Trump was, according to the newspaper New York times Suddenly he praised DeSantis again at the event in Rochester. After his withdrawal, the governor of Florida announced that he would support Trump.
The former president said he greatly appreciated this and would no longer use a derogatory epithet for his fellow party members. Trump has previously called him “Ron Dissanctimonious.”
Trump also received support from his former rival Tim Scott last week. The prominent senator abandoned his attempt to become the Republican Party's presidential nominee last year, and according to American media, Trump may appoint him as his running mate: the vice presidential candidate.
