Oscar Vincent Johnson has won the Concacaf Champions League with his Mexican football club Monterey. It is the premier football tournament for clubs in North America, the Caribbean and Central America.
In Guadeloupe, a suburb of Monterrey, Vincent Johnson’s team beat Mexican club United 1-0. About ten minutes later Rogelio Funes Mori scored the only goal. He hit the ball into the goal post on the far post. Fifteen minutes before the final, Fonseca Mori was replaced by Johnson.
For Monterrey, this is the fifth title in the Concacaf Champions League. Last year the trophy went to the Tigress team from Mexico.

The winner of the Concacaf Champions League can take part in the World Cup for club teams. On behalf of Europe, UEFA Champions League winner Chelsea will also take part in the tournament in the United Arab Emirates in early 2022.
Johnson (27) has been playing football in Mexico since the summer of 2019. He hails from Tottenham Hotspur, England, where he is not sure where to start. In the Netherlands, Johnson previously played for AZ, where he grew up internationally, and Almer City.
