The release of the next generation upgrade of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been delayed to an unknown date. The upgrade was supposed to be released for the first time last year, but has since been pushed back to the second quarter of 2022. Now the release date has been pushed back for the second time.
the official Twitter account reports for the Witcher game series CD Projekt Red’s in-house development team is continuing to work on the upgrade, but it won’t be able to release it this quarter. “We are currently evaluating the amount of work remaining, so we have to postpone the release of the upgrade until further notice.”

An upgrade to The Witcher 3 should add the visual and ray tracing upgrades to the game so that it looks nicer on the current console generation.
