Audio company Bang & Olufsen will show off new Beosound Theater speakers during IFA 2022. It can also work as a TV standard and supports Dolby Atmos. The amplifier will cost 6,490 euros when released.

The Beosound Theater can also function as a floor standing TV stand. The manufacturer provides a standard amplifier, with which a TV can also be connected. The speakers have aluminum “wings” that can be extended to display the attached TV. The stand with cable channels is motorized, so the TV can be turned over. Bang & Olufsen also provides wall mount hardware. The manufacturer says that the design of the speakers is inspired by a sailboat.
The speakers can be further integrated with up to sixteen other Bang & Olufsen speakers via eight physical Powerlink outputs and eight Powerlink wireless connections. The soundbar supports Dolby Atmos, but B&O does not mention support for DTS:X. The soundbar also gets three HDMI 2.1 inputs and an HDMI 2.1 eARC connection. The speakers also get USB-C connectivity for audio, support for Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify Connect.
Bang & Olufsen supplies the speaker in two different colours. The black variant with a fabric cover costs 6,490 euros. There will also be a wooden variant, which will cost 7,490 euros. The speaker will be available in stores on October 3.
