Apple brings these innovations to your iPhone running iOS 16 | Technique
Battery percentage is visible again
The battery percentage at the top of the iPhone screen disappeared in 2017, but it’s back in iOS 16. It looks a little different than before: only numbers appear, and the percentage sign is missing.
The battery symbol always seems full, otherwise the numbers will not be easy to read. While charging, the battery turns green and when power saving mode is on, the icon appears yellow. This is the case now as well.
remove background from photos
iOS 16 also has a new feature that makes it possible to highlight the subject in photos. It is now also possible to isolate the subject completely by removing the background. This option makes it easy for users to create stickers for iMessage and WhatsApp.
Edit or undo messages
iMessage users can now edit the messages they just sent. It is also possible to undo sending the message completely. Both options are only possible within fifteen minutes of sending the message.
In addition, users can mark a message as “unread”. This can be a workaround, for example, if you can’t or don’t want to reply to a message until later.
Revoke or schedule emails
Has the unfinished mail been sent? Or accidentally send a message to the wrong person? Users can now easily retrieve emails that have been sent. This is possible for ten seconds after sending.
In addition, users can now also schedule an email to send later. When they hold down the send button for a longer time, they get the option to send the mail at a later time.
