Omroep Flevoland – News – Oh my God! The Almere Festival has been canceled again, and ticket buyers could lose money
R&B and Hip-Hop Oh My! The Almere Festival will not be held this year, just like last year. This is evident from BOOS's broadcast about the violations surrounding the event. Festival fans who purchased a €100 ticket for the 2023 edition will receive compensation from the organization, but nothing has happened so far.
Ticket buyers will likely be able to get their money's worth, because the festival organization is telling program creator Tim Hoffman that bankruptcy may be on the horizon.
It is still unclear exactly how many victims are affected. The organization does not want to say anything about this, but it informs the BNNVARA program that the municipality of Almere was going to intervene in the application for the 2024 edition. From a letter from the municipal council to BOOS, which was shown in the broadcast, it turns out that no application was ever submitted.
IF IT IS ALREADY ORGANIZED OH MY! The festival has been filed for bankruptcy, and a curator will decide whether people who bought a ticket will get a refund.
