Sad news from the UK. Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew's ex-wife, has had cancer again. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Sarah now has skin cancer.
Last June, news emerged that Sarah Ferguson had been treated for breast cancer. After a successful operation, the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie received a good prognosis. Unfortunately, Sarah has currently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma.

A spokesman for Britain's Prince Andrew's ex-wife told British media that Ferguson, 64, was doing well under the circumstances. They are being examined further to see if the cancer is detected at an early stage. “A new diagnosis so soon after treatment for breast cancer is obviously worrying, but the Duchess remains in good spirits.” The cancer was discovered after Ferguson removed some moles.

News that Sarah has skin cancer comes on the heels of other worrying reports from the UK. Last week, it emerged that Catherine, Princess of Wales, had planned abdominal surgery, from which she will have to recover for weeks. The Princess of Wales is not expected to resume her duties as a working royal until after Easter. Catherine is currently recovering in hospital.
