British Kosovar singer Dua Lipa has released a new record on Spotify. She is the first artist to reach over 1 billion streams on Spotify with just four songs.
She made the record with the songs New Rules, One Kiss, IDGAF and Don’t Start Now. The latest song comes from her sophomore album Future Nostalgia, which was released on March 27. This album has already broken three records, including “most streamed album in a single day by a British female artist worldwide”. The album was also streamed the most times in a single day in the United States and the United Kingdom. For the UK, this amounted to 21.7 million streams.

And in the Netherlands, rapper Boef recently broke a Spotify record. The single Tout Est Bon became the most streamed track of all time in the Netherlands on its first day of release. The song has been streamed 679,000 times, making it the most streamed Dutch song of all time on the first day of release. Thus the track leaves Past Time by Lil’ Kleine & Brenna and Tigers Bilal Wahib with 670,000 and 652,000 streams respectively.
