Nick Tweet is the new host of the show Babylon cakes. He is the successor to Simon de Jong, who first created the program Abel’s pies It has been recalled since 2003.
Toet is known for his YouTube channel Itenmitnik. He completed his chef training and then focused on video editing. His passion for cooking remained, so he decided to combine the two things.
“I’m really looking forward to it Babylon cakes To make. “For me, it’s one of the best children’s shows of the last 20 years,” Tweet says. “It’s important for children to see and have open conversations about light and heavy topics. We talk together without shame, while we bake and put sweets in our mouths. This makes television poignant.”
The broadcaster assumes the duties of De Jong, who announced last March his retirement from the program after twenty years. Tuitt realizes he has big shoes to fill. “Fortunately, I have a size 48. And with my Hague flair, I hope to have real, heart-warming conversations on the show.”
New episodes can be watched with Toet every Sunday on NPO Zapp starting January 7.
