In England’s League One competition, Aussie James Meredith was Bradford City’s hero as the Yorkshire club continued their push towards promotion with a 1-1 draw against Millwall at Valley Parade.

The left back slid through to score the equaliser on 60 minutes.

One division up and Kiwi striker Chris Wood continued his amazing run of netting goals for Leeds United, bagging a double in the space of nine minutes in an eventual 3-2 loss to local rivals Barnsley.

The Hamilton product’s fine form has made him the target of transfer speculation, with current Premier League outfits Swansea, Sunderland and West Ham rumoured to be in the race for his signature.

Cashed-up Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian are also said to have shown interest after missing out on Chelsea forward Diego Costa.

All Whites skipper Winston Reid was a strong performer for West Ham in their 3-1 win over Middlesbrough in the EPL.

Across in the Netherlands, All Whites youngster Ryan Thomas played 90 minutes as his relegation-threatened PEC Zwolle team got up 2-1 against ADO Den Haag.
