Too Good Tuesday this week relives the Origin series upset to end all Origin series upsets.

The Super League-ravaged Queensland side, packed with journeymen, rookies and no-names – including just five players from the Maroons’ previous campaign – swept a comparatively star-studded NSW outfit 3-0.

After an extraordinary 2-0 victory at the SFS in the series opener, the ‘Fatty’ Vautin-coached Maroons sealed the series with a 20-12 triumph at the MCG.

Clinging to a two-point lead in the dying minutes, Queensland rebuffed a Brad Fittler-led assault on their line to clinch an emotional win.

But the Maroons were intent on putting the icing on one of the all-time great rugby league boilovers, with Brett Dallas scooting out of dummy-half and sprinting 90 metres for an unforgettable try.
