YouTube is testing a feature that downloads 20 algorithm-selected videos per week – Computer – News

You don’t see that the less politically correct channels have anything to do with that, id, they block a video/channel, and as far as I’m concerned, this can still be a practice. Just like corawappies, I prefer not to have a platform that facilitates this effectively.

This is of course a very questionable position. The “algorithm” is of course written in a way that basically looks at what keeps you the longest on that platform. There are many things in which you cannot distinguish between good and evil, but between opinion and preferences.

Of course, this algorithm doesn’t know how to distinguish, so before you know it there are also things like “nuclear power plant wappies”, “wappies wappies” or “albert heijn-wappies” and “jumbo wappies”.

When it comes to criminal matters, no debate. But a dissenting opinion, even if it does not agree with your own, the prevailing opinion, the awakened opinion or the politically correct opinion, is very dangerous to choose for.

I don’t use “recommended” videos from Youtube at all, but of course this story applies in principle to every medium that uses such an algorithm (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
