In the years leading up to Brexit, the pound was much more expensive. Then 1.6 euros maximum, and since Brexit has been stable at just under 1.2 euros for one pound. The beauty of the pound, in particular, is that the exchange rate fluctuates. Try it in the European Union. The fact that the euro exchange rate is the same for all EU countries, rich and poor, is precisely one of the biggest problems. This cost the Dutch workers, who, like all British workers, did not benefit from the EU at the time, billions of euros. This really started with the introduction of the Euro in 1999 and has never stopped since then, because countries like Italy, Spain, France, Greece, etc. have very high debts and an economy that runs less. Unfortunately, devaluation is not an option. The euro has already cost a lot, but of course it’s never too late to get out. Tories – whom they solemnly promised with their hand on their faithful and golden heart. None of the promises of Brexit materialized, and it was all expected long and wide in advance. Project Fear has been right from the start. But some would rather cut off his right arm than admit it. Good Nick for that, Horn! By the way, did you know that post-Brexit Nigel F will receive £73,000 a year in EU pension for the rest of his life? And that his wife is German and that therefore he and his children do not suffer from the disadvantages of Brexit, which he himself propagated with lies?
