Writer Kim Mollands has died at the age of 48 | Book and culture
Author and journalist Kim Mollands died on Friday at the age of 48. Mollands suffered from cystic fibrosis, a chronic genetic condition with a limited life expectancy.
The author has been an advocate in the media for years for a law under which people automatically become donors, unless someone explicitly indicates they don't want to. This donor law entered into force in July 2020.
Mollands underwent a life-saving double lung transplant in 2010. In the past, Mollands has written for LINDA, among others. He wrote several books including no limits, It describes life before and after a lung transplant.
