WhatsApp Revamped: Pull Round Text & Emoji Reactions

WhatsApp text clouds have been green and rectangular for many years. This theme will be revamped soon, reports WABetaInfo. The site scans beta versions of WhatsApp for new features. In such a beta, text dragging is less rectangular, with rounded edges than it is currently. The color is also slightly modified: in the light version of WhatsApp, the green is a little fresher, and in the dark mode it is a little darker.

WhatsApp is also testing the ability to with emoji Reply to messages. New emoji reactions are held in a new box below the text drag. For example, users can quickly add a smiley emoji as a response, without having to type a message. Anyone in a group chat can see which emoji they have left from. It is not yet known when the new emoji reactions and text clouds will be available to everyone.

History of WhatsApp from iPhone to Samsung

The WhatsApp feature that is now available to more users is the switch option. Until now, it was almost impossible to bring your chat history with you when switching from iPhone to Android or vice versa. On iPhones it’s stored in iCloud, on Android in Google Drive and swapping has been difficult.

In August, WhatsApp announced the ability to view chat history to move From iPhone to new Samsung foldable phones. This option is now extended to all Samsung devices, WhatsApp Reports. In time, the option will work with all devices running Android 10 or higher. However, a Lightning to USB-C cable is required.

In the end, it will also be possible to transfer chat history from Android to iPhone, but this is not possible yet.
