Tim van Rijthoven failed to reach the second round of the ATP Championships in Antwerp. Lost to world number 55, Jaume Munnar: 6-4, 4-6, 6-7.

At the same time in the Lotto Arena, Jesper de Jong (22) lost in his second match at the highest level. Earlier this year he was given a wildcard at Rosmalen, in Antwerp he qualified through the qualifiers, as Van Rijthoven. But the Frenchman Constant Listien was very strong: 6-3, 6-4.

Later on Tuesday, Butch van de Zandscholp will play in the European Open, meeting Swiss Dominic Stryker. Van de Zandschulp finished seventh. Talon Groenbauer was the fourth Dutch player in the Belgian main league, already losing to Brett Dan Evans on Monday.
