Utrecht> At a time when facts and fiction are often intertwined, the Utrecht Party for the Animals invites interested parties to an inspiring lecture on the role of science in the debate on animal welfare, nature and climate change. This lecture will take place on Monday 15 April at 8pm in Kargador in Utrecht. Everyone is welcome.

Under the title “Facts, Myths and the Role of Science”, Vera Sikora, Director of the NGPF (Scientific Office of the Party for the Animals), and Hans Osebard, activist in the Scientists' Rebellion and expert in the field of “planetary health”, spoke. “, their experiences and ideas.

“What is real? How do we deal with myths and fake news? And what role does scientific knowledge play in the debate on animal welfare, nature and climate change?” are the questions that will be discussed during the lecture.

The lecture will take place on Monday 15 April at De Kargadoor, Oudegracht 36 in Utrecht. The program runs from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with entry at 7:30 pm.
The evening consists of lectures by Vera and Hans and an interactive question and answer session. Afterwards there will be an informal drink, where participants can chat and share experiences.
