The Orange teams’ second Pro League block is just around the corner. The next part of London’s busy international summer begins on Friday. Both Dutch men and women participate twice in the English capital. All duels can be watched live on Ziggo Sport.
Jeroen Delame’s men will play Spain twice, on Friday (4.10pm) and Monday (6.40pm). The first duel can be watched on the main channel of Ziggo Sport, for the second you have to play Ziggo Racing.
The Netherlands has a proven track record for number seven in the world. The last seven meetings have resulted in six victories. The last time the Orange lost to Spain was in 2019. At that time, the Dutch national team went down sensitively (4-3) during the European Championship semi-finals in Antwerp. It happened under the leadership of Max Caldas, who – there we have the bridge to the present – is currently the national coach of Spain.
The orange women score a hit against us
The Orange Women will play against the United States on Saturday and Tuesday. The Americans were leading in the middle of the last decade – for example, they finished fourth in the 2014 World Cup – but then they fell far behind. Team USA did not qualify for the 2022 World Championships or the final Olympics. The fact that America, which ranks 15th in the world, is not a leading country is also evident from recent meetings with the “Orange”. The Netherlands have scored no fewer than 29 times in their last four matches against this opponent.
On Saturdays you can visit Ziggo Docu from 1.30pm to watch the Orange Women. Three days later, you have to tune into the main channel of the sports channel to watch Holland in action. Then there’s the kick-off in London at 3.40pm.
