Drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg will also drive in Formula 1 for Haas next year. In the run-up to the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, the American team announced that the 30-year-old Dane and 36-year-old German have extended their contracts until 2024. Together, they have driven 346 Grands Prix in Formula 1.
Magnussen and Hulkenberg gave Haas 11 points for this year’s World Cup. The German took care of nine of them. Hulkenberg returned to Haas this season as a regular driver in Formula 1. In recent years he has worked as a reserve driver for Aston Martin. Hulkenberg previously drove for Williams, Force India (predecessor to Aston Martin), Sauber and Renault. He has already participated in nearly two hundred Formula 1 Grand Prix races.
Magnussen has been driving for Haas since 2017. Only in 2021 does he have a permanent Formula 1 seat. The Dane returned last year and gave Haas pole position at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

We can safely say that we have a very strong driver duo this season. “There is no reason to change that next year,” said team principal Gunter Steiner. “Although we have been having problems with the car this season, we can consider ourselves lucky to have two drivers who are invaluable with their reactions. Both have already scored points. Nico has particularly excelled in qualifying, reaching Division Three six times. .”
Hulkenberg, who was born in Emerick near the border between the Netherlands and Germany and also speaks Dutch, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2015 with Porsche.
