The Boston Celtics are still hoping for a place in the NBA Finals. Thanks in part to 33 points from Jason Tatum, the team won Game 4 over the Miami Heat, 116-99. So the Florida team lost its first chance to complete a best-of-seven series in the Eastern Division Finals.

Miami is leading 3-1 and could make another attempt in Boston on Thursday. Boston also prevented the Eastern Conference from seeing a final turnaround into a so-called sweep, a 4-0 win. In the Western Division, the Denver Nuggets had already knocked the Los Angeles Lakers out of the NBA Finals in such impressive fashion.

Miami seemed halfway to a party at its Kaseya Center. Coach Erik Spoelstra’s team led by 6 points but lost that margin in the third quarter. Tatum also had an important share with 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Jimmy Butler was the leading scorer for the home team, with 29 points.
