Shakira wrote the song after her breakup with Pique. The former footballer is said to have cheated. In the single, Shakira wipes the floor with her ex-husband. For example, she sings: “There's plenty of time in the gym, but maybe you should also train your mind.”
The former footballer and Shakira met in 2010 and had a relationship until the summer of 2022. The couple had two children together.
The singer did not reveal much about her new album on Instagram. “I wrote it with you, my friend Wolf wolves. You have always been there for me. I reinvented myself with this album and turned my weaknesses into strengths.”
