The Premier League has sold its domestic TV rights for 2025-29 for a record £6.7bn (€7.81bn) to Sky Sports and TNT Sports.

Sky Sports has acquired four of the five packages and will bring a minimum of 215 Premier League matches per season into British living rooms. The fifth package, which includes 52 football matches, is dedicated to TNT Sports.

According to the Premier League, this is the largest sports rights media deal ever in the UK. The contract is valid from the 2025-2026 season until the end of the 2028-2029 season. The current contract (until mid-2025) will generate £5 billion over three years.

Match of the Day, the BBC’s legendary programme, will also present highlights from all the Premier League matches in the new decade.
