New images of motherboards with the Intel H610 and B660 chipset have appeared. The images show motherboards from ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI. Earlier, other unannounced motherboards from ASUS appeared.
VideoCardz posted the photos From two unannounced ASUS B660 motherboards and two H610 variants. The site shows, among other things, ASUS ProArt B660 Creator D4 and ROG Strix B660-I Wi-Fi. The first supports DDR4, one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, three full-size M.2 slots, and a smaller M.2 connector. ROG Strix B660-I features a mini-ITX design and supports DDR5 memory as well as PCIe 5.0.
ASUS H610 motherboards are positioned lower to offer less detailed VRM designs with less cooling. The two variants on offer, Prime H610-A and Prime H610-E, each offer a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two M.2 slots with a PCIe 3.0 interface. The models offer DDR4 support and do not support PCIe 5.0 or PCIe 4.0 SSD slots.

Twitter user chi11eddog . appears More pictures of four MSI B660 motherboards. A Twitter user shows, among other things, the MAG B660 Tomahawk with Wi-Fi 6, DDR4 support, and three M.2 slots. The motherboard does not display the PCIe generation that this motherboard supports. Chi11eddog also publishes three micro-ATX motherboards: the MAG B660 Mortar, the MAG B660 Bazooka, and the Pro B660M-A. All of these motherboards have DDR4 support and multiple M.2 slots, but again it’s not clear what version of PCIe they support.
The H610 and B660 chipsets are positioned lower than the current Intel Z690 chipset and the upcoming H670 chipset for Alder Lake CPUs. Among other things, the possibility of overclocking the CPU is missing, although B660 motherboards can overclock memory. Leaker momomo_us shared earlier this month Specifications of the alleged slides on Twitter. Intel is expected to present the new chipsets during the CES presentation on January 4.
